The fire pumps at the premises of Permali were dated and in a poor condition; access to the pump was also very poor. We managed to strip the existing diesel engine-driven fire pump and remove it from the pump room in its disassembled form.
The pipe work was all renewed and the new set stripped and brought into the pump room in its base components. It was them rebuilt and fully commissioned. This was accomplished in three days, with full fire cover restored to the premises.
